About Us

Our Mission

Founded in 2019, Hearts of Skylar Foundation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, collaborates with area community, civic, educational, and faith-based partners to address the needs of underserved children and families, providing supplies and resources that support their health, well-being, and education.

Through partnerships and the generosity of businesses, neighbors, community organizations, philanthropists, and grants, Hearts of Skylar Foundation volunteers strive to give back to our community by helping to make a difference in the lives of neighbors in need. It only takes one good heart to change someone’s life.

Hearts of Skylar Foundation serves youth and families in Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Gloucester, Atlantic Counties (New Jersey), and Philadelphia County (PA.) Educational, social, and athletic events are hosted quarterly, focused on improving the quality of life for youth and families, providing school supplies, food, household supplies, and holiday baskets of joy, health, and happiness. Foundation activities advance cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion across neighborhoods. 100% of donations go back to the community!

Our story

Martianne (CEO) and Skylar (Co-Founder) began donating to people in need starting in 2016 when they were looking for a way to volunteer their time to help individuals in need. The thought of donating bags with essential necessities would bring hope to people in need. Skylar continually encouraged her mother to keep donating and spreading the word to fellow friends and families in ways that they could easily make a difference.

They collect any unused toiletries, blankets, book bags and many other items and create care packages to deliver to children in foster care, the homeless, veterans, or even families that have suffered from fires or other unfortunate circumstances.
